Service
histories of Australian men and women who served during World
War II are now accessible online.
The World War II Nominal Roll website makes it possible to search
for records by name, service number, honours received, place of
birth, place of enlistment or town/suburb on enlistment.
Minister for Veterans Affairs Danna Vale said the roll made
the task of searching for information much simpler.
By taking advantage of technology, access to part of our
wartime heritage is possible all over Australia and the world,
she said.
