DRES-AF to review cases

A Federal Magistrate recently found that a decision by the Medical Classification Review Board to make a member Medically Unfit for Further Service (MUFS) was discriminatory because, although not deployable due to his condition, he was deemed to be employable in his normal duties.

Further aspects of the decision are being addressed through the legal process.

As a result, all future MUFS cases involving Reserve personnel will be reviewed by DRES-AF staff before discharge action is commenced.
