Canoeing
NOMINATIONS are invited for competitors and groundcrew to compete
in the 2002 Interservice Canoeing Championships from December
26 - January 2, held in conjunction with the Red Cross Murray
River Canoe Marathon, covering 400kms in five days. Further information

Cricket
THE 2002 ADF National Cricket Carnival will be held in Brisbane
from November 13-15. The New Zealand Defence Force has been invited
to attend for the first time to compete against the best the Australian
services can muster. At the completion of the carnival, the ADF
national team will be named, with matches planned against the
Queensland Bulls U19s and the New Zealand Defence Force team.
Golf
ADF Golf Associations 18th annual National Golf Championships
will be held at the Federal Golf Club in Canberra from December
9-13. An information and entry package can be obtained from the
ADFGAs regional representatives. Download copies can be

Rugby
league
IF you are moving or have moved to Western Australia and you want
to play rugby league the Rockingham Raiders, who cater for U7s
to U18s, Womens Super Tag, reserve grade and first grade,
are looking for players. The season starts in February/March with
pre-season training usually commencing in January. For more information

Softball
THE Australian Defence Softball Association National Championships
will be held at RAAF Base Richmond from November 18-22. Further

BRISBANE
Devils Softball Club has started playing summer fixtures and is
looking for players in all grades. The club caters for females
from the age of six upwards and welcomes members of the Defence
Force looking for a family-orientated sport to join. The Devils
are part of Kedron Wavell RSL and Shaw Sports Complex at Chermside
and Kallinga in Brisbane. There is a mens team in the Brisbane
winter competition that welcomes anyone wishing to play. For more

THE ADF Long Course Championships are at Penrith Lakes International
Regatta Centre on October 25. Entry is free and is open to all

Yachting
THE Royal New Zealand Navy has invited the ADF Sailing Association
to participate in this years Lindaver Coastal Classic, starting
in Auckland on October 25 and finishing in Russell, Bay of Islands.
