This vampire video sucked, if you pardon the obvious pun. Bad make-up, bad accents and a bad plot designed for teenagers who like caking their faces with white make-up, wearing black and wasting oxygen in shopping malls.

Based on the novel by Anne Rice, Queen of the Damned gained much publicity when the nubile young American popstar Aaliyah died in a plane crash after filming finished.

That tragedy, plus a cover image guaranteed to getting testosterone fizzing, will suck (sorry, couldn’t help it) plenty of people into watching this schlock about the vampire Lestat who poses as a rock star.

If you get bitten, then you can’t say you weren’t warned.
