THE Air Force interservice canoeing competition will be held in conjunction with this year’s Red Cross Murray River Canoe Marathon (RCMRCM) from December 26-January 10.

Going the distance

ON TOP of my list of things to do before turning 40 was to run a marathon. I recently managed to get myself motivated, organised and equipped to undertake such a gruelling event, choosing the USAF Marathon, which is run annually at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Dayton, Ohio), where I am stationed as a Foreign Liaison Officer.
