Air Force Footy after personnel

THE Air Force Footy management committee is seeking players, umpires, administrators and support staff as it prepares for next year’s ADF Australian Football Championships.

The 2003 ADF Australian Football Championships will be held in Canberra from March 24-28.

Selection trials for the Air Force team will be held at a training camp scheduled for March 17-23.

While the umpires and women’s team have independent management committees, the Air Force Footy management committee will endeavour to provide administrative support to all Air Force members participating in the carnival.

The committee has encouraged women in particular to express their interest in being part of an Air Force team.

The current women’s Australian rules format is a tri-service north versus south competition.

The Air Force team is also seeking sponsors. Sponsorship packages have been developed to provide a range of options for potential sponsors.

Anyone interested in sponsoring the team can contact Flying Officer Adam Frizell on (02) 6287 1444 or e-mail adam.frizell@defence.gov.au

Other enquiries can be directed to team manager Corporal Mick Murray on (08) 8923 5003 or e-mail michael.murray1@defence.gov.au
