Children around Australia have had the chance to learn more about the
RAAF's P3C Orion and its aircrew thanks to ABC Television's Couch Potato
program.
The program, which airs on Sunday mornings, featured Crew 1, 10 Squadron
on a recent episode.
The show's stars, Abby Colman and David Heinrich, were dressed up in flying
suits and taken for a tour of the Orion, before pilot, Flight Lieutenant
Stuat Wilson let them fly the Orion simulator.
Abby, David and the ABC crew enjoyed their day at RAAF Edinburgh so much
that they have decided to do a story about another Defence asset - the Australian
Army Parachute Display Team, The Red Berets. The Red Berets story will appear
on an upcoming episode of Couch Potato.
