September
24: The Air Power Brass plays at the RAAF Europe Association
34th annual dinner at the Camberwell Civic Centre from 11.30am.
September 25: Fanfare Trumpets blow their instruments
at the AFL Grand Final Day Fanfare in Melbourne at the MCG
at 2pm.
September 26: The Air Power Brass takes part in the
MCG Open Day from 11.30am-1.3pm in Melbourne.
September 29: The Ceremonial Band plays at the 1RTU
Graduation Parade at RAAF Base Edinburgh at 9am. |

September
23: The Brass and Woodwind Quintet will provide incidental
music for the Investitures conducted at Government House,
Sydney.
September 24: The Chamber Musicians will provide a
free concert from 1.15-2pm at St Peter’s Presbyterian Church,
cnr Blue St and Blues Point Rd, North Sydney.
September 29: The Woodwind Quintet will perform a free
concert from 1.15-2pm at St James Church, Phillip St, Sydney.
The program includes Sechs Bagatellen by Ligeti and a quintet
arrangement of Dvorak’s American Quartet Op. 96.
October 1: The parade band will march in the “Welcome
Home Parade”, occurring in the CBD of Ipswich, QLD, at 11am.
The Brass Quintet will provide incidental music for a CAF
dinner hosted in the Officer’s Mess, at RAAF Base Amberley.
October 2-3: The Big Band will perform public concerts
for the Amberley Air Show from 11-11.45am and 3.30-4.15 on

DDFN
will host the third Annual Nursing Officer Forum in Canberra
from November 10-12. The forum theme is “The Future Belongs
to Collaborative Practices”.

Registration fee is $100 and a dinner, held at the ADFA Officers’

Farewell luncheon |
A
farewell luncheon for GPCAPT Greg Weekes will be held at the
Australian Defence College, Weston Creek on December 14.
GPCAPT Weekes will retire in early 2005 after 37 years’ service.
