WGCDR Donald Sutherland (who normally has little hair) is shown lopping the locks of Mark Cossins SQNLDR Bob Hudson and SGT Ricci Harris display the Golden Clippers AwardWhen RAAF Glenbrook challenged RAAF Richmond to see which could raise the most money for the Leukaemia Foundation’s Shave for a Cure, both rose to the cause. The Golden Clippers Award was won by Richmond, which raised $5289 to Glenbrook’s $700, a great result by both. WGCDR Donald Sutherland (who normally has little hair) is shown lopping the locks of Mark Cossins (left), while SQNLDR Bob Hudson and SGT Ricci Harris display the Golden Clippers Award (right).

Commander Air Lift Group AIRCDRE Greg Evans, WOFF Bill Jacobs (ret'd) and wife Peggy show off Bill's war medals  specially presented to him at RAAF Base Richmond. Sergeants’ Mess CMC WOFF Pete Matthey and committee arranged a luncheon and the presentation for Mr Jacobs after becoming aware that he had never applied for his WWII medals. During his war service Bill broke a leg playing rugby in England. While he was recovering, his crew was shot down and killed over Germany.
