A
GROUND-breaking regional youth program involving the Australian
Air Force Cadets (AAFC) has been launched in South Australia.
The new Activ8 program involves the formation of an AAFC squadron
and provides 12 to 19-year-olds with the opportunity to participate
in a variety of activities including drill and ceremonial, Air Force
Cadet service knowledge, introduction to aviation, flying experiences,
team building activities, camps and excursions and leadership and
training.
The new squadron will be assisted by No. 614 Squadron from Port
Pirie in South Australia..
