Just
for the record
The
official Government mission to Korea in 2001 for the 50th anniversary
of the Korean War and the dedication of the Yeongcheon memorial
did not occur at the same time, contrary to the article Of
war and peace in the October 24 edition of Air Force News.
They were two separate events, held one year apart.
It should also be noted that Flying Officer John Seaton (retd)
and his wife, Barbara, represented No. 77 Squadron, and Australia,
at the dedication of the Yeongcheon monument in 2002 after they
made the trip at their own expense.
-
The abbreviation for radar domes is radomes, not ray
domes as reported in the September 26 edition in the article
entitled Neptunes scrub up just nicely.
- The
article Legal undertaking in the September 26 edition
should have referred to the Aerospace Centre, not the Air Power
Studies Centre.
- It
was a RAAF Base Amberley fire fighter who fixed the generator
of the 00 Motorsport V8 team at the Indy car races, not a technician
as reported in the November 7 edition.
