IM
not real quick at the recognition game and Im dead hopeless
at trivia even movie trivia. This may seem a little
odd for a movie reviewer, you might think.
But not really if you think about it.

Conflict,
prejudice against pacifists
Foyles
War A Lesson in Murder. Friday, November 22 at 8.30pm
on ABC TV.
Reviewer: Ben Caddaye
A
lesson in Murder is the third episode in this four-part drama
set in England during WW2.
Det Chief Supt Christopher Foyle (Michael Kitchen) is a policeman
fighting his own war, far away from the frontline.
In this episode, he investigates the death of a conscientious
objector in police custody and the booby-trap murder of a
young evacuee at the home of the judge who had him arrested.
The evacuees death emerges as a smokescreen for a maze
of family conflict and prejudice against pacifists
a smokescreen the dogged Foyle must find his way through.
If youve tuned into the first two episodes of Foyles
War you'll already know how watchable this drama is. Its
one of those programs that hooks viewers within minutes and
takes them on an enjoyable ride.
Those who havent seen it yet can still tune in and pick
up the storyline and character relationships relatively quickly.
Foyles War is quality television.
