The
event lasted an hour but it covered more than 80 years of Air Force
history, tradition and honour.
The
occasion was the dedication of the national Air Force Memorial
on Anzac Parade in Canberra on November 1.
A
new granite wall depicting scenes from the Air Force's proud history
was unveiled during the ceremony. The event ended with a flypast
of venerable and memorable aircraft from a spitfire to a Vampire.
