Recognition for 383

383ECSS members were recognised for their first 90 days of Service in support of UNTAET, with the presentation of medals in October.
The RAAF's newest squadron, 383ECSS, was presented with it's UNTAET medals in recognition of their first 90 days of Service in support of UNTAET on October 7.

Major General Smith, Deputy Force Commander and New Zealand and Portuguese representatives presented the medals.

Major General Smith praised the unit for its outstanding efforts in providing support to UNTAET across a variety of fields including aeromedical, engineering, catering, warehousing, maintenance, air traffic control, rescue and fire fighting, air movements, communications and administration.

CO 383ECSS, Wing Commander David Pasfield, was presented with his medal by Major General Mike Smith.
