Navy strikes four at nationals

Navy will have four representatives in the Australian Defence Tenpin Bowling Association’s team for the Australian championships at the Ozetenpin Bowl in Altona in Victoria from October 12 to 14.
The Navy representatives are LEUT Steve Reynolds (HMAS Newcastle), WO Mike Batey (SMFEG HMAS Stirling), POMT Stuart McCleish (HMAS Cerberus), and AB Brendon Parr (HMAS Stirling).
“This is the strongest and biggest team that we have sent to the civilian championships and we have high hopes of good results,” Brett Kleidon of the ADTBA said.
“The team is made up of all four ADF branches, Army, Navy, Air Force and APS.”
The ADTBA team will compete in singles, doubles and teams events over the three days in Classic, A and B-grades. |
