SEA PATROL POWERS ON

With a debut audience of 1.9 million viewers, followed up by 1.6 million for the second installment, the new Channel 9 drama series Sea Patrol is proving to be a hit.

Navy News was at the official launch of Sea Patrol onboard HMAS Sydney on June 26 where we spoke to Lisa McCune – the article was published in the previous edition.

The launch was attended by the producers, Hal and Di McElroy, cast members including Lisa McCune and Ian Stenlake and Chief of Navy, VADM Russ Shalders AO, CSC, RAN.

The showpiece of the launch was a display by AUSCDT1 supported by a 817SQN Sea King and mock boarding of a TRV by the cast of Sea Patrol.
