coaches sought The Australian Defence Force Academy Rugby Club is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified coaches for the 2007 season. The season runs from March to September 2007. Prospective coaches should possess a current Australian Rugby Union Level One coaching qualification as a minimum. Expressions of interest in coaching rugby at ADFA in 2007 or further information can be obtained from the club supervising officer, SQNLDR Peter Gilbert on 62688569 or the head rugby coach Adam Campaign on 0417 801 863. Shoot-off against police Dust off that double-barrel shotgun; Andrew and Annie get your guns for the 2007 Australasian Police and Services Clay Target Championships at the Majura Gun Club in Canberra from October 4 to 7. This years event is also open to ADF civilians, with five events each day leading up to the main event the 60-target champion of champions off 18m when shooters will contest 20-target single and double barrel events as well as a 20-target points score. In the preceding days there will be 50-target events in various disciplines between October 4 and 6 with police and civilian sections in all events and refreshments and cartridges available on site. Footy about to kick off The Australian Services Australian Football Association will hold its 2007 carnival from April 16-20 at Ainslie Oval in Canberra.
