| Collins claims
cup victory for training Volume 50, No.3, March 8, 2007 |
| HMAS Collins
(CMDR G.A.Miles) finished 2006 on a bright note when it was awarded the
inaugural Platypus Cup for excellence in training. The Managing Director of ASC Pty Ltd, Greg Tunny, presented the cup to the submarine’s beaming CO, CMDR Greg Miles. It was a closely contested competition. The final selection was decided on a formal assessment by the Personnel Training Advisory Centre West (PTAC-W). It was based on all of the training management employed onboard the submarine.. |
