| Brisbane’s
day out Volume 50, No. 1, February 8, 2007 |
| One of the largest
commitments to Australia Day took place in Brisbane with close to 200 Navy,
Army and RAAF personnel taking to the “parade ground” or working
quietly in the background. At the Roma Street Parklands the Queensland Government conducted a flag raising ceremony. More than 200 VIPs and special guests attended along with hundreds of members of the public. |
