Sam’s Town
The Killers
Universal |
|
JUST over a year since their last album Hot Fuss, The Killers have hacked back into the charts with Sam’s Town. This album is just as good as their first, with their unusual lyrics and Brit pop-rock sound.
Some of the songs sound awfully similar to the previous album – or maybe that’s just The Killers’ sound. Not sure about the relevance of the goat though.

Amazing
The Best of
Alex Lloyd
EMI |
|
I’M not overly convinced Lloyd has actually written enough quality tunes to launch a double CD “best of” album. Yes, Amazing is a tops song, but since then it’s all sounded like more of the same to me. But for the faithful, there’s all of Lloyd’s best tunes to provide hours of listening pleasure.
