Changing your account
Volume 49, No. 18 , October 05, 2006
The Defence IT Service Desk is coming up to a very busy period with thousands of Defence personnel relocating throughout the country as part of the annual posting cycle.
This movement of personnel occurs from mid-December to early March and generates a high number of service desk calls. Although extra staff are allocated to the service desk during this period, personnel may still experience delays in getting their DRN account up and working. The best way to alleviate this situation is for personnel to arrange the relocation of their account prior to leaving their current locations.
To relocate a DRN account visit the DRN CIOG homepage http://intranet.defence.gov.au/ciogweb and click on the green icon entitled “posting” and then follow the instructions which will direct you to the self-help “Are You Being Posted” icon.
Users needing to relocate a DSN Account should log an ENAR (Electronic Network Access Request) through the DSN homepage at the same time as they action their DRN request.
