Water polo in the swim
ADF water polo players will be in the swim for top honours when they contest the inter-service championships from December 4-8 in Townsville. Men’s and women’s teams from the Northern Territory, North and South-East Queensland and NSW are expected to compete in the titles at Lavarack Barracks. Up for grabs is the ADF Services Water Polo Interstate Cup which is currently held by North Queensland.

Dragonboat racing places
NAVMAT Dragonboat Racing Club has places available for new male and female members to join as paddlers, drummers or sweeps. The club, sponsored by Defcredit, offers a non-contact team sport that improves fitness, provides the thrill of competition and offers the opportunity to make plenty of friends. Basic training sessions are held each Saturday morning at Lotus Bay, Mariner Place, Yarralumla from 9.45am to 11am. The first three sessions are free.
