Something for KateSony BMG
This is a CD which has received mix
reviews from critics – described as
either a work of genius or generically bland.
For me, it’s a bit of both. I like
some of the songs on here but Paul Dempsey’s
distinctive voice and the band’s melancholy
approach to life can be a little grating
after 20 minutes. Something for Kate fans
will either love it or hate it – but
either way it’s much better than their
last two offerings.
