PO Vanessa Dickson was one of the busiest athletes at the recent ADF Track and Field Championships, which were held at the State Athletic Facility in Brisbane.

She took part in the masters women’s shot put, where she finished first, and the masters javelin, where she came second.
PO Dickson is based at HMAS Waterhen and was one of the organisers of the ADF’s recent 10km road championships.
With the running of these events, the curtain has now been drawn on Defence’s track and field season.
