LCDR
Steve Dickfos claimed the Carr Cup Tennis Knockout competition which was held
at Randwick Barracks recently.
He beat the defending champion LSCIS Robert
Leak 6-2, 6-3 in the final.
A total of 24 players took part in the round robin
competition.
The players displayed skills ranging from amateurs to hard-hitters.
This years semi-finals saw LCDR Dickfos, LEUT Simon Levy, LSCIS
Leak and ABSN Dane Clark slug it out for a position in the finals.
But
it was clear that no one would take the cup from LCDR Dickfos.
This year
the Carr Cup Tennis Knockout celebrated 68 years of competition, with the first
ever Cup contested in 1938.
