Parramatta prepared

Anzac-class missile frigate HMAS Parramatta (CMDR Jonathon
Mead) recently left FBE after a tearful farewell with family
and friends and is enroute to the Persian Gulf where she takes
over duties from HMAS Newcastle.

Adelaide's numbers up
One of the Navys
hardest working missile frigates, HMAS Adelaide (CMDR
Anthony OMalley), returned to FBW recently after a voyage
spanning 142 days that began with Ex Kakadu VII in Australias
northern waters and concluded with Ex Bersama Lima in the
South China Sea.

Time to recharge the batteries for Westralia
The
cheers of excited family and friends greeted the Navys
largest ship HMAS Westralia (CMDR Tim Crawford) when
she returned to HMAS Stirling recently after 135 days
at sea.

Manoora puts many miles on the clock
Around Australia in long deployment
HMAS
Manoora recently returned from a four-month deployment
that covered 35,000 miles and included exercises, operations
and successful completion of her Unit Readiness Evaluation
(URE).
