GOOD WORK: CPO Stephen Thorbjornsen, pictured with his family at FBE, was presented with his Maritime Commander’s commendation on Anzac’s arrival home to Western Australia.

CPO Stephen Thorbjonsen from HMAS Anzac was presented with a commendation from the Maritime Commander, RADM Davyd Thomas on Anzac’s arrival into Australia at FBW.

The commendation was for outstanding performance of duty as the electronic sensors and communciations systems technical manager in HMAS Anzac.

During Anzac’s recent Northern Trident tour, CPO Thorbjornsen’s knowledge leadership skills and dedication were recognised, particularly with regard to his efforts ensuring the highest level of operational availablity of Anzac’s electronic sensor and communications system.

The commendation noted his leadership skills and dedication to the development and mentoring of his subordinates as well as his meticulous and diligent style in the role of Departmental Regulator.
