HMAS
Warramunga was recently given the opportunity to formally adopt
the cadet unit, TS Marmion. On October 22, CMDR Vandyke and SBLT
Shaun Baldwin visited TS Marmion to present a ship’s crucifix
and quartermaster’s desk to Marmion’s Commanding Officer, LEUT
Michael Vasey.
TS Marmion cadets paid a visit to Warramunga alongside at HMAS
Stirling on October 24.
A tour of the ship by the ship’s company gave the cadets an insight
into the life of Navy personnel and of life at sea.
