It was Crunch time on HMAS Ballarat the other day.

The flight deck and hangar of the 3,400 tonne Anzac Class frigate became the set for the recording of Foxtel’s new men’s health and fitness show, Crunch.

CMDR David Hunter and his ship’s company hosted the activity.

Alongside Fleet Base East, the warship became a hive of activity from an early hour with 18 Foxtel staffers arriving and setting up their equipment not only on board but on the wharf.

Members of Ballarat’s ship’s company, led by the ship’s fit-ness trainer Jamie Cook, took part in some of the exercises.

The exercises were led by Foxtel host and fitness trainer Jodie Low.
