Navy is conducting a survey into family related issues facing personnel.

A study is to be conducted into the family related issues facing personnel in the warfare categories and specialisations.

LCDR Carol Hay, RANR has been tasked by the Head of Surface Warfare Community (HSWC), CDRE Davyd Thomas, to conduct the study.

The NHQ signal announcing this study and calling for input from the warfare community (NHQ Australia Z4P/WBA/WCA 270313Z Sep 04) stated:

The first stage of the study will be research and information gathering. Submissions are now invited from all members of the warfare community to assist in this study, particularly from personnel who have made, or are making, career decisions based on family requirements.

Input is to be made via email to familywarfare.study@defence.gov.au.

All correspondence will be treated with the highest sensitivity. T

he deadline for input is November 30.
