The NSW Department of Lands has dedicated a small cove off the Parramatta River as “Fairmile Cove.”

The dedication took place during a ceremony on the site on August 22.

There was strong involvement of the Fairmile Association of Australia.

The Fairmiles were operated by the RAN during WWII and were generally manned by RAN Reservists.
