Midshipmen,
Officer Cadets and four staff members from the Australian
Defence Force Academy (ADFA) participated in the recent Western
Front Battlefield Study Tour.
The tour covered the D-Day landings of June 1944, Henry V’s
victory over the French at
Agincourt in 1415, the Great War battlefields of Ypres and
the Somme, Operation Market- Garden, which was made famous
in Cornelius Ryan’s book A Bridge Too Far, and Napoleon’s
defeat at Waterloo.
