Top brass review class

The Royal Australian Naval College graduation of 62 new entry officers was marked with even greater distinction with the Reviewing Officer, His Excellency Major General Michael Jeffery AC, CVO, MC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia.

He was accompanied by the Chief of the Navy, Vice Admiral Chris Ritchie AO, RAN, a 1968 graduate of the College.

Major prize winners were:

• Commander Gray DSO Perpetual Cup co-winners Midshipman Madeline Colling and Sub-Lieutenant Rob Spencer-James
  
• Commodore Sir James Ramsay Prize winner 2nd Lieutenant Kelvin Koh;
  
• Naval Historical Society Prize winner Sub-Lieutenant Stuart Robottom;
  
• ES Cunningham Prize winner Midshipman Katey Mouritz;
  
• Department of Defence Cruise Prize winner Midshipman Evan Smith and;
  
• Governor-General’s Cup winner Lieutenant Heather Walker. Royal Australian Naval College Prize winner Sub-Lieutenant Rob Spencer-James.
