While the vast majority of Navy personnel will spend Christmas with family and friends, spare a thought for those on duty, or on call, both here and overseas.

Australia has seven ships sailing the oceans of the world in support of Operation Catalyst in the Persian Gulf, Operation Anode in the Solomon Islands and Operation Relex off our northern coast. The RAN also has personnel based in several other countries.
