FIMA Perth’s entrant for this year’s Bluey Day event was ex-CPOMT Barry Riley (aka Ringo Starr) who volunteered to have his head shaved to raise money for Perth’s Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) for children.

Barry is now employed by Scientific Management Associates and is one of two instructors at FIMA Perth’s Skilled Development Centre.

The event, coordinated by CPOCK Maxine Stone, was a great success. It commenced with a sausage sizzle and was followed by the raffling of portions of Barry’s skull to be shaved.

By the end of the afternoon, Barry was shaved smooth, FIMA staff were ‘snaggered’ and $500 had been raised for the PMH.
