Golf
The 2003 Air Force NSW Golf Championships will be held at Westside
Golf Club at Rutherford near Maitland on August 25-27, with the
team to play Navy and Army in October selected from this event.
Format is 36-hole stroke for all grades. Contact SGT Stewart Rawlinson

Lawn Bowls
The 2003 NSW Inter-service Lawn Bowls competition will be conducted
at Beresfield Bowling Club (Newcastle), from August 12-14 inclusive.
The 2003 ACT/SNSW Inter-service Lawn Bowls competition will be
held August 21-22 at West Deakin Hellenic Bowling Club, Kent St,
Deakin, ACT. The competition is being managed by the ACT Defence
Lawn Bowls Group. Points of contact in the ACT are FLTLT Russ

The ADF national competition is planned for September 1-5 at Ferny

Touch Football
The 2003 Canberra Defence Force Touch Association Interservice
Competition will be held on August 15 at HMAS Harman. This competition
is open to Canberra based Defence members, (including ADFA), Reservists
and Defence public servants. The nominations for men's/women's
opens, 30s, 35/40+ are to be forwarded to the following POCs:

Fishing
The annual ADF Inter-Service Fishing Championship will be held
from October 17-19 out of Darwin. Further details from the website

Hockey
The 9th Australian Masters Games will be held in Canberra from
October 31 - November 9, with the ADF Hockey Association entering
teams again this year. The major requirement for entry is to be
old enough, and for hockey this is 30 years of age at December
31, 2003. Last year three teams (two men's and one women's) competed
in the World Masters Games in Melbourne, and it is hoped the same
numbers can be achieved for the Australian Masters. Detailed information

Basketball
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Australian Defence
Force Basketball Association (ADFBA) as an accredited sporting
association. To celebrate the milestone the Patron, RADM Raydon
Gates and President COL Tony Cotton extend a cordial invitation
to all former participants, competitors and officials alike, to
attend the this years championship in Sydney Oct 19-25, culminating
in a gala ball reunion on October 25.For detailed information

The 12th ADF National Touch Football Championships will be held
