A barely visible HMAS Wollongong standing behind HMAS Bunbury on the Darwin Naval Base maintenance hardstand Fog is a rarity in the coastal areas of the Northern Territory forming about once every eight to ten years. So when a peasouper rolled across Darwin on July 2 reducing visibility to 200 metres, there was plenty to talk about. It also allowed PONPC Bernard Matson of NORCOM to put his camera to use.
