Sailors run to support Bali

Twenty officers and sailors were recognised at a clear lower deck for their participation in the Kathy Salvatori Run held back in February.

Members of HMAS Cairns and Lodger Units ran between Innisfail and Cairns, finishing at Barlow Park with a standing ovation, to help raise funds for victims of the Bali Bombing and Burns Units associated with the aftermath.

Mr Wayne Nicholson presented the participants with certificates on behalf of the organisers, and expressed his gratitude at their willingness to contribute to the success of the run, which overall raised $13,000.
