Skiing
The 2003 Navy Ski Week will be held at Mount Buller in Victoria
from August 3 to 10.
It will incorporate the inter-service selection trials.
Accommodation will be at the RANSKI Club lodge and a preliminary
cost of $750 has been set.
This is $200 down on last year.
However any additional funds from sponsors or the Services could
reduce the amount even further.
People interested in taking part are to send an expression of interest
to attend the week to one of the following personnel or signal RANTEAA:
Attn LCDR Pay.
A: Fleet and Sydney area — email adrian.pay@defence.gov.au
B: Victoria, WA, NT, QLD, SA — email phil.ridgway@defence.gov.au
C: Albatross, Creswell ACT — email ian.napthali@defence.gov.au
The Navy Ski Week will be followed, also at Mount Buller, by the
inter-service competition.
Meanwhile, the annual general meeting of the RANSKI Club was held
at Thredbo on May 17.
