Wollongong-based TS Albatross, under the command of LEUT Hans Hornig successfully completed its annual inspection on Saturday April 12. The inspecting officer was the CO of HMAS Penguin, CMDR John Shevlin. CMDR Shevlin, who is the unit’s Local Naval Authority, inspected the unit as part of the competition between other ANC units in NSW/ACT for the title of Most Efficient ANC Unit in the State. Apart from ceremonial Divisions and a march-past, the unit staged a man overboard and sailing exercise on adjacent Lake Illawarra, as well as a first-aid response exercise.
