Defence
personnel will benefit from the construction of eight new homes
at Worrigee in Nowra, the Federal Member for Gilmore, Joanna Gash,
announced during a site visit of the soon-to-be completed buildings.
The building is being project managed by the Defence Housing Authority
(DHA) to meet the needs of Australian Defence Force (ADF) members
who work at HMAS Albatross or HMAS Creswell.
There are more than 1000 ADF personnel in the Nowra area who need
high quality accommodation, including the families of those on deployment
overseas or the northern waters of Australia. DHA manages over 500
properties in and around Nowra. The project is due to be completed
this month.
