James and Johanne Harrap with their daughter Meridian. Meridian
is the first baby to be christened on newly commissioned HMAS Rankin
and James is Rankins Navigating Officer.
Although some of their mates are deployed to OP Falconer, there
is still plenty of work for the divers of AUSCDTONE based at HMAS
Waterhen in Sydney. Recently, divers in their Mark 18 equipment
went over the side of Diving Tender Seal at the Oil Wharf at Garden
Island. Their job was to go below HMAS Melbourne and do some work
on one of her auxiliary propulsion units.
