Stuart Little has a problem – he’s small for his age and he’s finding it hard to fit in.

He’s also a mouse – the adopted middle child of Mr and Mrs Little – who discovers that, in the human world, size does matter.

He can’t make the soccer team, his friends don’t want to play with him any more and he’s struggling at school.

Stuart’s problems appear solved when a female feathered friend drops in. The bird’s arrival, however, ends up causing more big dramas in tiny Stuart’s life.

Stuart Little 2 is one of those rare sequels that’s better than the original. Michael J. Fox, Nathan Lane, James Woods and Melanie Griffith provide the voices for the superbly animated characters and Gina Davis and Hugh Laurie play Stuart’s parents to aplomb.

Stuart Little 2 is a kids’ movie but no doubt a few parents will get caught up in the entertaining adventures of this tiny mouse.
