Stirling flexes its mussels

HMAS Stirling’s CO, CMDR Phil Orchard, was treated to a seafood delight of a feast of cooked mussels at Garden Island recently. CMDR Orchard, with Channel 9 Postcards presenter Paul Entwistle, was taking part in the filming of a television segment promoting the West Australian mussel fishing industry. Called the Mussel Fest Rockingham, the festival celebrated its fourth year on March 9 on the Rockingham waterfront. Getting in some practice for the festival was ABCK Stuart Hammond from Stirling who gave CMDR Orchard and Mr Entwistle a taste of this seafood delight.
