Anthrax Q&A
Anthrax is an infectious disease caused
by the bacteria Bacillus anthracis. It affects animals such
as sheep and cattle but can also infect humans.

Anthrax shots
The ADF employs two virtually
identical vaccines one from the UK and one from the USA. Those
receiving the UK vaccine will receive injections at zero,
three and six weeks and then a fourth injection at six months.

High praise for medics
A senior hospital administrator has heaped
high praise on two HMAS Albatross medics for the work they
did transferring more than 20 bedridden elderly residents
from one Nowra nursing home to another recently.

four illegal fishing boats in tow. Launceston had sailed from
Darwin Naval Base to tow two apprehended Foreign Fishing Vessels
(FFV) from Ashmore Reef to Broome.
