Footy fever will strike at the Father McDonald Cup Australian
Rules Football Competition at Randwick Army Barracks on Wednesday
March 5, commencing at 0900 and conclude at approximately 1400.
HMAS Albatross has had a strong hold on the Cup for many years
so all teams from all services are welcome to attend and try and
snare the cup. Nominations close on Monday, March 3, with details

The Australian Services Australian Football Association will hold
its annual national carnival in Canberra from March 24-28. Can
Army maintain its stranglehold on the Jim Smail Cup, or will Navy

The RAN Australian Football Association will hold a Legends Dinner
prior to the 2003 ADF National Carnival in Canberra on Friday,

Bodybuilding
The 6th annual ADF Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Titles will
be held at HMAS Cerberus on June 23, featuring divisions for all
ADF permanent and Reserve personnel and Defence civilians. As
an amateur event, beginners are encouraged. Entry details and

Dragon Boat racing
Navy Physical Training is entering a dragon boat team in the Canberra
Day Regatta on March 8, with 20 crew members required and no experience

Equestrian
The NSW Police will hold its annual Police Equestrian Games, with
members of the Australian Defence Force invited to attend at the
Sydney International Equestrian Centre on March 8-9. Entries close

Fishing
The annual ADF Inter-Service Fishing Championship will be held
from October 17-19 out of Darwin. Further details from the website

Golf
The Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted
from July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella over 72 holes.
Entry fee is $45 which includes all green fees and presentations.

Rugby League
The Harman Seadogs Rugby League team is back in action, with pre-season
training having commenced at Sir Victor Smith Oval at HMAS Harman.

Soccer
The Australian Combined Services Soccer Association is calling
for nominations for coaches, managers and trainers for the ADF
mens and womens teams. These teams will be involved
in the 2003 Corporate Games in Sydney from March 22-23, the Arafura
Games in Darwin from May 17-24 and a womens tour of Singapore
in June. Nominations to CAPT Brendan Smith (brendan.smith3@defence.gov.au)
and must be endorsed through the single Service soccer presidents.
Nominations from players for the 2003 NSW Corporate Games are
also sought in the following teams: open men, open women and over-30

Touch Football
The Canberra Defence Force Touch Association is calling for nominations
for the 2003 competition commencing March 4 and running through
to October, with games every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes at
Duntroon Ovals. Registration is $200 per team, with fees in by
