Certain movies make people stand up and take notice – this is one such movie.

Panic Room is a fast-paced thriller that cleverly relies on just six main characters and one location.

When Meg Altman (Foster) and her daughter Sarah (Kristen Stewart) move into a big, old house in inner city New York, they discover its unique feature – a panic room.

This room is impenetrable – only those inside can enter or exit – so, when their home is invaded by intruders, the room become their refuge from danger.

The only problem is, the room they’re locked in is the one room the thieves want to enter.

Panic Room boasts a tight scripts and brilliant cinematography. Director David Fincher’s continuous tracking shots have to be seen to be appreciated and all cast members do a superb job.

If you are claustrophobic – beware. This is a flick not to be missed.
