Currumbin youngsters hear of Navy life

Just days before he deployed in his ship HMAS Success ABSTD Ian Moreton made a dash from Sydney to the Gold Coast. He had a pleasant task to carry out.

He had been invited by staff at Currumbin Primary School to give Grade 7 students an insight into “what it’s like in the Navy.” With whiteboard and video he was able to get the message across.
