Many happy returns ... ABMT Matt Bobbin and LCDR Dave Moncrieff put the birthday cake to the sword as HMAS GEELONG celebrates her 17th year of service.

GEELONG has just completed a busy 12-month period clocking up 28,640 nautical miles, 66 boardings of foreign fishing vessels and has just finished an eight-week patrol.

She is currently undergoing maintenance at Darwin Naval Base and will return to patrol duties afterwards.
