A CONFERENCE on peacekeeping will be held at the Australian War Memorial from September 13-14.
A reception to welcome participants, and to launch the competition for the design of a peacekeeping memorial in Canberra will be held at 5.30pm on September 12, followed by two full days of papers and discussion.
Former peacekeepers are encouraged to attend and offer their perspectives during the periods set aside for discussion. Cost of attendance for the two days is $200, plus $50 for a dinner in the Memorial’s Anzac Hall.
